The much hyped FCB vs FCB quarter Final is done and dusted in Estadio da Luz. Bayern Munich just crushed Barcelona and Messi and Co has no answer to what was coming their way. They have cruised to the Semi-Final where they will meetManchester City or Lyon on 20th August 2020.

Bayern Munich just keep finding the back of the net. Thomas Muller scored the first goal in the 4th minute but after three minutes, David Alaba levelled the score (It was an Own Goal). After this Bayern came all over Barca with three consecutive goals in 21st, 27th and 31st minute of the game. At the end of first half Bayern was leading the game 4-2. Barca fans were hoping that in the 2nd half Messi will find a way out of this onslaught from Die Roten. When 2nd Half started Luis Suarez find the back of the net in 57′ but Barca was far behind. Bayern was just ruthless and they added four more goals after this. KImmich scored in the 63′ of the game. Lewandowski also scored one in the 82nd minute of the game followed by Coutinho’s double in 85th and 89th minute of the game which put the last nail in the coffin for Barca. This is a heavy defeat for them. Barca has conceded 8 goals in all the competitions for the first time since 1946. There will also be no Spanish team in the UEFA Champions League Semi-Final lineup for the first time since 2007.
