Assistant and spin bowling coach of Multan Sultans has disclosed that their overseas all-rounder Tim David preferred playing for Pakistan Super League instead of representing Australia in a T20I series against Sri Lanka.
Tim David is in isolation at the moment after testing positive for COVID-19. He has also missed the Qualifier against Lahore Qalandars. He has been in a staggering form for Multan Sultans and has scored 251 runs at an impressive strike rate of 199.20. He has smashed two fifties and has hit 20 sixes in the tournament. Multan Sultans have already qualified for the final of HBL PSL 7 and they are awaiting the result of the Eliminator 2 between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars today.
