The trademark Ronaldo’s celebration, the leap, swivel and the landing with the stretched arms has reached Old Trafford. Cristiano Ronaldo had a perfect comeback in the Reds as he scored two goals which gave him two chances to stage his trademark celebration. With Ronaldo’s heroics, Manchester United was able to beat Newcastle United 4-1.
This performance from Manchester United matched the hyped created by the fans who were chanting ‘Viva Ronaldo‘. After the match, Ronaldo said that he was very nervous but it never looked like that he had been away from Old Trafford for 12 years. Fans who were unhappy and storming the stadium against the owners just 5 months ago are now mad for Ronaldo’s No. 7 shirt and the megastore is struggling to match the demand.

Manchester United’s manager and former teammate Ole Gunnar Solskjær has said that there are loads of expectations from Ronaldo and he has delivered. He added that Ronaldo is a ruthless goal scorer and he always smells the big occasion. Ronaldo left Manchester United in 2008 just an year after winning his first ever Ballon D’Or accolade and now he has returned a five-time winner. Ronaldo first missed when he swung at the ball from a very tight angle and smiled in front of the Newcastle fans but then he restarted the goal count at 118 at the end of first half in the 2nd minute of the stoppage time. Newcastle found the equalizer in the 2nd half with Javier Manquillo but then Ronaldo once again restored the lead in 62nd minute.

The tougher days are waiting for Ronaldo and United and the homecoming will be successful if Ronaldo brings the Premiere League trophy back to United for the first time since the last days of Sir Alex Ferguson’s reign in 2013.
