Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos has tested positive for COVID-19. Ramos was already sidelined for their game against Liverpool on Wednesday in the quarterfinals of Champions League due to muscle injury.


Raphael Varane, the central defender of Real Madrid will also not feature in the quater0final as he is also COVID-19 positive. He was also not part of the team in the first leg game which was won by Real Madros 3-1. Lucas Vázquez is another player who will miss the 2nd leg game as e he hurt his knee at the weekend el clásico against Barcelona. Eden Hazard is also not fully fit and he will also miss the game.

Real Madrid is 13 times champions of Europe and has won six games in a row in all competition. After the exit of Barcelona and Juventus, Real Madrid has become favourite to win the title once again.
