Rajasthan Royals have signed world’s No. 1 T20I bowler i.e. Tabraiz Shamsi for the 2nd leg of IPL 2021 in U.A.E. He has been signed as a replacement for Andrew Tye who pulled out of the 2nd leg of IPL due to some personal reasons.

Shamsi is a 30 years old South African left-arm leg spinner who has a vast experience of playing T20 cricket. He has played in many domestic T20 leagues and has also represented South Africa in numerous T20Is. Tabraiz Shamsi has played 158 T20 matches and has grabbed 183 wickets. He has got an economy rate of 7.18. In IPL Shamsi has played 4 matches and grabbed 3 wickets for RCB, who recruited him in 2016 season as a replacement player.
Rajasthan Royals started their 2021 edition of IPL on a high note by winning two wins in their first three games. However, their performance dipped and now they are resting on the 5th position on the points table.
