PSG has reached in the Champions League semi-finals after knocking out the defending champion Bayern Munich. Though they lost to Bayern Munich 1-0 on Tuesday but progressed to the semis on away goals after 3-3 aggregate result.
The only goal scored in the match was from Eric Choupo-Moting before the interval but it was not enough to overturn the last week’s first leg 3-2 loss. PSG had many chances in the game but they lacked the efficiency. Neymar hit the pole twice and Mbappe’s speed was unmatchable but they were goalless.
PSG kept their cool and reached the final-four spot where they will now play against Manchester City or Borussia Dortmund who will play on Wednesday. Bayern Munich paid the price of the injured Robert Lewandowski and forward Serge Gnarby who tested positive for COVID-19. PSG on the other hand were without their skipper Marquinhos and midfielder Marco Verrati.
