#2 Lionel Messi
33 years old Leo Messi is performing continuously on the big stage and is still holding the top position in the football world. #1 Robert Lewandowski
Robert Lewandowski has been invincible this season and he has further proved to the world that he is the greatest striker of this generation. He has been consistently performing for Bayern and in this term his numbers are monstrous.
Robert Lewandowski has appeared in 7 games in Champions League and he has scored 13 goals plus he has provided 4 assists. The numbers are staggering as he has been involved in 2.5 goals per game. He would have certainly got Ballon d’Or this year but unfortunately it will be held in 2020 because of lack of sufficiently level playing field.
Robert Lewandowski is the top goalscorer in this season's Champions League—and joint-top for assists.
