PCB instructed Pakistan players participating in BPL 2023 to return till February 2

BPL 2023

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has instructed the Pakistan players participating in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) to return to their home country by February 2. The move comes as the PCB looks to have their players ready for the upcoming HBL PSL, set to commence from February 13th. This decision is likely to have an impact on the teams in which these players are currently representing in the BPL tournament.

As we hear from our sources, a few Pakistan players have requested an extension on their NOC to stay in Bangladesh till February 8th. The PCB in response, has stated that the players can only stay on if their respective franchises have no objections and inform the PCB via email. It’s worth noting that Pakistan players have been making a big impact in the BPL, with Iftikhar Ahmed, Azam Khan and Usman Khan being the only players to score a century this season. The young sensation Naseem Shah also made a dream debut, taking four wickets in his spell on Monday. It would be interesting to see the outcome of these requests and how it affects the team’s performance in the BPL.
