Pakistan missed to host the cricket nations since 2009 when Sri Lankan team was attacked in Lahore. In the past 11 years only West Indies, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka have toured Pakistan. But now the winds are changing as England and South Africa are touring Pakistan in next year. This became possible after Pakistan toured England and also agreed to tour South Africa. Both these countries are badly hit by COVID-19 and now in a move to show their gratitude they are planning the reciprocal trips. Both England and South Africa have not visited Pakistan in the last decade.
