Pakistan announce squad for tri-series in Ireland and Commonwealth Games at Birmingham

Pakistan Women's squad announced for tri series and Commonwealth Games

Pakistan Cricket Board has announced national women’s squad for the tri-series in Ireland as well as for Commonwealth Games. There are no changes in the squad announced for the home series against Sri Lanka.

The player of the recently concluded T20I series Tuba Hassan and Gull Feroza are part of the squad and they will make their maiden overseas appearance. Ireland will host a tri-series in Belfast from 16-24 July and other than Ireland and Pakistan the third team will be the world champions Australia. After this tri-series, Pakistan women’s team will play against Barbados, India and Australia in Commonwealth Games on 29th, 31st July and 3rd August. Before departure to the UK on 12th July, Pakistan women’s team will undergo an extensive training session in Islamabad from 1st to 11th July.


The schedule of Pakistan’s matches for tri-series at Belfast is as follows

  • 16th July – vs Australia
  • 19th July – vs Ireland
  • 23rd July – Australia
  • 24th July – vs Ireland

The schedule for Pakistan women’s team matches in Commonwealth Games is as follows

  • 29th July – Barbados
  • 31st July – vs India
  • 3rd August – vs Australia.

Reserves: Umme Hani, Sadaf Shamas and Ghulam Fatima.
