Novak Djokovic has been eliminated from the US Open 2020 in a most dramatic fashion. The Serbian star lost his temper after he was broken in the first set of the match. Out of frustration he accidentally hit the lineswoman with the ball. The matter got serious when the official went off the ground holding her throat in great pain. The chair umpire then had a long meeting about Novak Djokovic.
Match officials followed the rules and defaulted Djokovic from the match which resulted in his exit from the US Open 2020. After the tragic exit of the Serbian star, everyone who is affiliated to the game gave their opinions on this matter. Boris Becker former Tennis legend and Djokovic coach said, “Djokovic received a lesson in front of everyone and I think he will learn from it to come back stronger.” He also said that the rule is crystal clear that if you will hit someone especially a referee intentionally or unintentionally you will loss the game.
