Central Punjab’s pacer Naseem Shah has been withdrawn from the ongoing National T20 Cup as he complained of a niggle in the groin. Naseem Shah made his international debut at a very young age and has already gone though several injuries in his short career.
Naseem Shah, now 17 will report at the National High-Performance Centre where medical panel of Pakistan Cricket Board will investigate on his injury thoroughly. Some cricket experts have already warned that playing international cricket at a very young age of 16 could make Naseem Sha injury prone. He has to be used smartly with appropriate intervals. Now Waqas Masood will replace the right arm pacer Naseem Shah. It remains to be seen if Nasim will be available for the home series against Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe will tour Pakistan for ODI and T20I series which will start on 30th October, 2020.
