Mushfiqur, Shakib included in Bangladesh Test squad for Pakistan series

Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced its squad for the upcoming Test series against Pakistan and the experienced Mushfiqur Rahim and Shakib Al Hasan have also been included. Shakib’s inclusion in the final XI will be subject to his fitness. He missed the three-match T20I series against Pakistan due to hamstring injury. On the other hand Mushfiqur Rahim for rested for the series. Tamim Iqbal who was out of the team due to multiple injuries and is now eyeing a comeback but he was unable to make it for the opening Test.
Bangladesh national selectors have called up two uncapped players for the Test series against Pakistan. The two players included in the squad are Rejaur Rahman and Mahmudul Hasan and both of them have made it to Bangladeshi squad on the back of some scintillating performances in the domestic setup. Young batsman Mahmudul Hasan has scored two centuries on the ongoing national Cricket League. Pacer Taejur Rehman has been picked in the squad after Taskin Ahmed and Shoriful Islam suffered injuries that they took in the T20I series. The young pacer has got 33 wickets in 10 matches he played.
