Maldives has come up with I’m Vaccinated tourism campaign for welcoming more and more tourists and for assuring their safety. Maldives has the intentions to become world’s first fully vaccinated tourism workplace.
Maldives has also announced that they will offer COVID-19 vaccine for the tourists. The tourism minister Abdullah Mausoom has announced the ‘3V’ plan that stands for Visit, Vaccinate and Vacation as an incentive to visit the country. The idea behind 3V plan is to provide safe tourism with minimum inconvenience.
Maldives wants it’s tourists to feel a sense of safety as well as comfort amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Tourists can visit a place where they can socially distance themselves and interact with the fully vaccinated tourism workforce.
Maldives is accepting the tourists with negative PCR test report which is taken less than three days before travel or the ones who are fully vaccinated.
