Fourth seed American tennis star Sofia Kenin aka Sonya will face the teenager Polish Iga Swiatek in French Open final on Saturday after she defeated the two times Wimbledon champion Kvitova. Sofia Kenin is looking to become the first woman to win two Grand Slams in the same year since Angelique Kerber won the Australian and US Open titles 4 years ago. On the other hand, Swiatek became the first ever Polish woman in 81 years to reach the Roland Garros final as she defeated the Argentine Nadia Podoroska 6-2, 6-1. She is also only the second Polish woman to reach in Grand Slam final in an Open era after Radwanska at Wimbledon in 2012.

Sofia Kenin is just 5ft 7in tall and is considered small for the modern tennis player but she thinks that she is just ‘fine’ with it. She said that size does not matter what matters is how tough you are. She said that she has won in Australia and had some really tough matches this week which has brought her confidence. She has been taken to the three sets in four of her last five matches leading up to the semi-finals.
