Pakistan who were reduced to just 33 for 4 at the end of the opening day of Karachi Test, bounced back on the 2nd day after a stellar performance from Fawad Alam. He scored a match defining century and formed a partnership of 94 runs with former captain Azhar Ali who scored 51 runs. After Azhar Ali, wicketkeeper batman Rizwan scored 33 runs.
All rounder Faheem Ashraf (64) put up a hundred partnership with Fawad Alam (109) for the 7th wicket. At the moment Hasan Ali and Nauman Ali are at the crease and they will resume the batting for Pakistan on Day 3. At stumps on day 2 Pakistan are on 308/8 and they have taken a lead of 88 runs. On a conclusive note we can say that Day 2 belonged to Pakistan as South Africa missed some chances and only four wicket fell on today.
