
Kane Williamson and Jason Holder were the stars of the show last night as they rescued Sunrisers Hyderabad from a pressure situation in eliminator against RCB. Sunrisers Hyderabad received a blow after the injury of Wriddhiman Saha who was in sublime form. Bowling first they restricted RCB to 131/7. Chasing this total SRH lost Goswami early but it was Mr. Cool Williamson and Jason Holder who ensured that SRH are one step closer to the trophy.

Kane Williamson was the Man of the Match after scoring a brilliant and timely half-century. Williamson was all praises for Jason Holder and said that it was Holder’s 3 boundaries that accelerated the chase for SRH. He also praised Holder by saying, “He is cooler than me! He is playing beautifully.”

While chasing 132, SRH first lost Goswami in the very first over and after that they lost their captain David Warner in 6th over which was a controversial decision. After this Manish Pandey and Priyam Garg also fell in the 9th and 12th overs respectively. At 67/4 Kane Williamson was joined by Jason Holder and both of them made a spectacular partnership and took SRH to a 6 wicket win in the last over.

In the post match presentation, Kane Williamson said that it was a very tough game against a class team like Royal Challengers Bangalore. He said that the surface was tricky and chasing anything was not a piece of cake. RCB had two world class leg-spinners in their ranks and it was never going to be easy.
