Joe Root becomes England’s fourth-highest run-scorer in Tests

Joe Root, England Cricket Team’s skipper is having a dream run in Ceylon (Now Sri Lanka) as he has surpasses former captain Kevin Pieterson to become the fourth highest run scorer in Test cricket for England. Root plays the spin very well ands we have witnessed his dominance on the Sri Lankan bowlers. He smashed two back to back hundreds against the Asian side. He was runout on 186 in the second test which helped England post 344 runs on the board. This was the 19th Test century from Joe Root who has now passed 8,200 runs in his 99th Test match. At the moment he has 8,238 runs and he has also surpassed English legendary left handed batsman David Gower.
