Irish explosive opener Paul Stirling and American pacer Ali Khan have been signed by Islamabad United for the 2021 edition of Pakistan Super League. Both of them joined the team as replacement players as the initial draft picks have been affected by the shifted International calendar.

Paul Stirling will replace the Kiwi opener Colin Munro and Ali Khan will replace the English pacer Reece Topley, who has been selected in the English side for the T20I series against India. Paul Stirling has been a very explosive in the Vitality Blast where he boasts a strike rate of 149 at an average of 25.81 in 99 games. Pakistan Super League begins on 20th February when champions Karachi Kings will take on Quetta Gladiators.
