Rishabh Pant, captain of Delhi Capitals attended his first training session on Friday ahead of the second half of the IPL 2021. he said that they are focusing on the processes and he is very hopeful that Delhi Capitals will continue with impressive performance from the first half of the tournament. Pant said that the ultimate goal is to win the trophy but at the moment the team is focusing on the process. He said that we are hopeful that we continue to play the way we did in the first half.
The wicketkeeper batsman has also said that he is getting used to the conditions in UAE as it is pretty hot in UAE. He said that he will be fully acclimatized to the conditions in 2 to 3 days. Pant said that he is very happy that the quarantine period is over and it is very nice to meet with the teammates after coming out of quarantine. Delhi Capitals is currently at the top of the points table with 12 points in eight matches and they were the runners-up in last edition. They will play their first game of the second leg of IPL 2021 against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 22nd September in Dubai.
