Defending has never been associated with Bangalore as the pitches at home ate not friendly for bowling but in Dubai under different conditions, RCB bowlers delivered and won 2 important points. Chahal, RCB champion leg spinner showed lots of character and sent the well settled Jonny Bairstow and Manish Pandey home. Apart from bowling, RCB batting was also impressive especially their young gun Devdutt Padikkal who was impressive at the top. He smashed an impressive fifty on his IPL debut. Apart from Padikkal, experienced batsman, AB de Villiers also delivered and helped his team to reach a respectable total. RCB will now face KXIP at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on 24th September.
