Matt Navarra, a social media consultant has shared a video of the new Captions sticker on Tuesday. This short video revealed how the upcoming Instagram Stories sticker works. The video shows that the new sticker is still not able to transcribe the whole video. However, this will surely change when the feature will be available for the general public.
In order to use the Captions sticker on your Instagram Stories, you will have to add the Captions sticker to your video clip. Once you have done it, the app will display a ‘Transcribing audio’ prompt on the display for a short time. After that you can view the text from the video clip as it plays. You can select from four different fonts options for these captions.
The Captions sticker will add the accessibility factor thus making it very easy for the ones who have hearing problems so that they can consume the video clips on Instagram Stories. The Captions sticker will also enable a range of the new content formats for the creators on Instagram. With this sticker you can post the music with lyrics as well.
