How to save a webpage as PDF

In this digital age almost all of us come across different webpages which they need to save for offline reading, research or sharing with others. Yes you can copy and paste the link but it is sometimes good to have your webpage as an image which can be viewed, printed and shared easily. The most suitable choice is to create PDF file of the webpage which can be viewed and sent anywhere. 

In the following guide we will tell you how you can save your desired webpages as PDF files on most of the popular web browsers. 

Chrome:

IN Chrome web browser first of all you need to click the three-dot icon located at the top right corner and select Print in the drop-down menu. You can also press Ctrl+P.

Now in the pop-up that will appear you are required to click the down arrow located to the right of Destination and then select Save as PDF from the drop-down menu. You will also see a preview which will be generated in the left pane. 

Now you are required to click on More Settings in order to change the paper size and scaling etc. (if required).

Once all the necessary changes are made you need to click on the Save button and the select the destination on your PC. Click on the 2nd Save button in order to complete the whole process. 

Microsoft Edge:

the guide shown below is applicable to both the original version as well as the new browser based on Chromium. 

First of all you need to click three-dot icon located in the top right corner and then select Print from the drop-down menu. You can also press Ctrl+P.

A pop-up window will appear where you need to click the down arrow which is displayed under Printer and after that select Microsoft Print to PDF option listed on the drop-down menu.

Now you can change the appearance of your PDF file like margins and scale etc. 

Once you are down with the required changes, click on the Print button and select destination on your PC. Now click on the second Save button in order to complete the process.

Safari:

There are two different ways of saving your webpages as PDF files

First Method:

From your Safari browser you need to click File on the menu bar and select Export as PDF… option on the drop-down menu. 

A pop up window will appear where you need to enter file name, select the destination and then click on the Save button.
