Cricket’s professor, Muhmmad Hafeez and the latest sensation Haider Ali are going to miss the first One Day International which will be held tomorrow at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Abdullah Shafiq who was very impressive in the recently concluded domestic T20 series will also miss the first game. Pakistan has opted for a strong and experienced side in the opening game.
Haider Ali Fifty on T20I Debut:
20 years old Haider Ali was impressive on England tour when he scored fifty on T20I debut. In the recently concluded National T20 Cup he played 9 matches for Northern and in 8 innings he scored 294 runs at an average of 36.75. His highest score was 90. On the other hand, 21 years old Abdullah Shafiq, playing for Central Punjab scored 358 runs in 10 matches. His highest score was 102. Veteran batsman Muhammad Hafeez was also very impressive in National T20 Cup but he will also miss the game along with young wicketkeeper Rohail Nazir, Zafar Gohar and Muhammad Husnain. Vice Captain Shadab Khan will also miss the game due to injury.
