Germany has been beaten in a World Cup qualifier by North Macedonia 2-1 in a Group J on Wednesday. This is the first time Germany has been defeated in World Cup qualifiers after 20 years. Last time German lost the qualifier match was against England in 2001.

Now the German coach Joachim Loew who will quit after the European Championship is leaving the German side at the 3rd place with six points. They are at the moment behind North Macedonia who are 65th in ranking.
Armenia on the other hand also defeated Romania when they scored two goals inside the final four minutes. The final score of Armenia-Romania match was 3-2. Armenia has now won three matches out of three and are the group leaders at the moment. Armenia celebrated the victory in front of 4,000 crowd in COVID-19 times.

Current World Champions France had a tough time beating Bosnia 1-0 and are resting at the top of the table in Group D. Italian side who missed the 2018 World Cup are cruising at the moment as they have won their 25th consecutive match after beating Lithuania 2-0. Italy is at the moment leading the Group C ladder. England is also leading the race in Group I. Spain is leading Group B with 7 points from 3 games. They beat Kosovo 3-1 in their home game.
