
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan and first lady Bushra Bibi have tested positive for COVID-19. Both are self-isolating at home. The news of first lady contracting coronavirus came hours after the government announced that the PM has contracted COVID-19.
Zulfi Bukhari, the Special Assistant to the PM for Overseas Pakistanis took to Twitter and wished speedy recovery to both. Zulfi Bukhari has said that the vaccines are totally safe and everyone must be vaccinated. He also urged the people of Pakistan to get vaccinated and fight the fake news.

No details about the health of Bushra Bibi has been revealed at the moment. However, PM’s Special Assistant on Health Dr Faisal Sultan has said that the Prime Minister is fit and doing pretty well.
