English All rounder David Willey has tested positive for COVID-19. He shared this news on social media on Thursday. Willey last appeared in an international game for England in ODI series against Ireland last month.
David Willey took on Twitter to thank his fans and friend for all the kind messages and love they have poured in. The Yorkshire all-rounder was disappointed on missing the remaining matches of the domestic T20 league Vitality Blast.
Thank you for all the kind messages. My wife & I received positive COVID test results. Gutted to be missing the remaining games. Even more devastated that having been in contact with the other 3 lads Sat morning (before we had symptoms) means they’re at risk & unavailable too. https://t.co/mP1pZAiX1C
