The multi-format players of England are likely to miss the Pakistan tour due to a very hectic cricket schedule. After the cancellation of Pakistan tour last year, England are all set to play in Pakistan in September 2022 and play two extra T20Is, apart from originally planned 5-match T20I series.
England’s team will return to Pakistan for three-match Test series following the T20 World Cup which is scheduled to be played Down Under. England’s short-format specialists will travel to Pakistan on 15th September i.e. 72 hours after the home series against South Africa will conclude and then on to Australia for further three T20s in order to acclimatize for T20 World Cup. England’s multi-format players will travel directly to Australia on 1st October. After the World Cup, England will play Australia in an ODI series and after that series will end on 22nd November, England will head over to Pakistan in order to participate in three-Test series.
