
Former Captain of West Indies and the first ever player of St. Lucia, Daren Sammy is exploring Pakistan as a tourist now a days after the postponement of PSL 6. Recently Sammy was seen playing tape-ball cricket with the local boys in Lahore.
Sammy was very excited that he has got the opportunity to explore Pakistan as a tourist and not as a cricketer. In a video shared by Peshawar Zalmi, Sammy can be seen hitting the local boys in tape-ball cricket.

Sammy is part of Peshawar Zalmi franchise from the inaugural season and he led them to their only title in 2nd season. He led the Zalmi team in first four seasons and later was appointed as head coach of the franchise in the 6th edition.
He is very famous in Pakistan and has also received Nishan-e-Pakistan which is the highest civil award for the foreign nationals. He was also granted honorary Pakistan citizenship by President of Pakistan. Sammy is the only captain who has lifted the T20 World Cup trophy twice i.e. in 2012 and 2016.
