Cristiano Ronaldo fuming over disallowed goal against Serbia in World Cup Qualifiers

The armband of Portugal’s captain which was slammed into the ground by Cristiano Ronaldo after his winning goal was disallowed in World Cup qualifier against Serbia has been put up for auction on Tuesday.

A charity group is collecting money for the surgery of of 6-month old boy from Serbia with spinal muscular astrophy. They got the armband from a worker who picked up the armband after the match was finished in a 2-2 draw in Belgrade. According to the charity group the armband is blue in colour and a letter C on it. The armband will be in an online auction for three days.

Ronaldo walks off the filed after his goal was disallowed just few moments before the final whistle. Ronaldo dinked the ball over Serbian goalkeeper and it was apparent that the ball has crossed the line before it was cleared by the Serbian defender. Ronaldo angrily threw the armband down near the touchline and headed straight into the dressing room.

Cristiano Ronaldo was heavily criticized for his aggressive behavior and some people believe that his angry attitude could lead to the sanctions from FIFA.
