BCCI has announced the squads for the Women’s T20 Challenge which will be held from 4th November to 9th November in UAE. Mithali Raj, Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur will lead Velocity, Trailblazers and Supernovas respectively.
Some of the very best Indian women cricket stars will team up with the leading stars from South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh, England and New Zealand. Women’s T20 Challenge will have four matches. In this year’s Women T20 Challenge we will also see a Thai cricketer, Natthakan Chantham who scored the first ever Women’s T20 World Cup for Thailand. More than 30 Indian cricketers will be part of this T20 tournament and all of them will arrive Mumbai from various different parts of India on October 18. the players will then quarantine for more than a week and they will be tested in this period for multiple times. They will depart for UAE on October 22.
