Barcelona to play against PSG as UEFA announces Champions League Round of 16 Draw

UEFA has announced the round of 16 draws for the Champions League 2020/21 on Monday. Bayern Munich who is the defending champion will compete with the Italy’s Lazio in the first game of the knockout stage. Barcelona will face French top side PSG in the round of 16. This will be one of the biggest games of the Champions League.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus will face Porto and Manchester City will face Borussia Monchenladbach who were very impressive in the group stage. Another high-octane game will be between Atletico Madrid vs Chelsea in the round of 16. Atletico Madrid has been on the top of the Spanish league points table and on the other hand Chelsea is also playing impressive football this season.

Borussia Dortmund, one of the giants of Budesliga will face Sevilla in the round of 16. it will not be an easy ride for BVB as they have just recently parted their ways with the head coach Lucien Favre after they face a humiliating defeat of 5-1 to Stuttgart at home. Borussia Dortmund has appointed Edin Terzic as their interim manager until the end of the season.


Liverpool, one of the giants of English Premier League will face RB Leipzig. Liverpool were knocked out in the Round of 16 by Atletico Madrid last year. On the other hand, RB Leipzig knocked out Manchester United out of the competition in the group stage.

Real Madrid who has won most Champions League titles i.e. 13 times, will face Atalanta who were impressive in last season of Serie A and EU competition.
