Australia opted to bowl first and lacked the discipline in their bowling but Darcie Brown’s sensational spell with the new ball removed both the Indian openers early. After that Mathali Raj and Yastika Bhatia initiated the rebuilding work but Darcie Brown returned to remove the partnership. Darcie Brown was declared player of the match and she said, “I was pretty lucky to get away with the half-trackers, and really grateful to get this opportunity. I was pretty nervous and hands were sweating a lot, but it was good fun. We just need to have some fun and need to do we what normally do,”
