The creator of the famous anti-virus software John McAfee has been found dead in the prison cell in Barcelona. This incident took place hours after a Spanish court decided to send him to USA in order to face tax evasion charges.

According to the resources, doctors tried their level best to revive 75 years old John McAfee but they failed to do so. McAfee was the first one to release commercial anti-virus software. McAfee anti-virus took the computer world by storm and created a multi-billion dollar industry. The company was eventually sold off to Intel for $7.6 billion.

John McAfee was arrested in October 2020 for tax evasion as he was accused of failing to file the tax returns for four years despite earning millions from his company. McAfee was a controversial figure in the tech world as he dodged the tax department by having his income paid into bank accounts as well as cryptocurrency exchange accounts in the names of nominees. He also used other people’s names for hiding his valuable assets.
