The Ministry of Culture of Saudi Arabia has collaborated with the international art collective teamLab for creating digital-art museum as part of the Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. this digital art museum will be located in Jeddah and it will be known as TeamLab Borderless Jeddah and it will open in the year 2023.

It will be a 10-year collaboration agreement between the Saudi Arabia and teamLab and it will see the artwork from the budding and talented artists in the converging fields of art and technology. TeamLab was established by Toshiyuki Inoko in 2001 in Japan and it is composed of various different artists like engineers, programmers, artists, CG animators, architects, and mathematicians. The Jeddah center will have the exhibitions of “teamLab Borderless” like the one in Tokyo in June 2018 and in Shanghai in November 2019. The museum will have a section dedicated for the children which will have focus on the science and art education. The Vision 2030 by Saudi Arabia have many attractions for diversifying the economy for reducing the reliance of oil.
